Consistency is key!
  • A representative sample usually consists of about 20 core samples from a lot however, this may vary depending on the size of the lot to be tested.

  • Collect the sample in an airtight plastic bag (i.e. Ziploc).

    • Paper bags will absorb moisture from your sample, thus altering the final results.

    • Heat may cause condensation which will also alter the final results. To ensure this does not happen, keep your sample in a cool, dark place until it is ready to be sent.

  • Properly label your sample and ship it to the lab.

    • Print out our ID tags and send one in with each sample.

    • Equine tests must be specifically labeled.

      • The equine test is for grasses only!
